We are Katie, Jess and JoJo —three friends who were all diagnosed with breast cancer within three months of one another. During our treatment, we received incredible care from the NHS. But when Katie experienced hair loss from chemotherapy, she realised how limited the support, guidance and affordable

options were for women suddenly facing baldness.

Katie’s wig appointment was especially tough. The styles felt dated, the prices were high, and nothing helped her feel comfortable or confident. Searching online didn’t help either—there were very few places offering simple, modern and affordable hair loss solutions.

Katie lost her hair 4 weeks into chemotherapy.

That experience sparked something in all of us.We decided to create The Bald Box - a supportive, easy place for women to begin their hair loss journey with confidence. Every product is thoughtfully chosen to offer practical, accessible options, from affordable wigs to comfortable head wear for hair loss, all designed to help women feel more like themselves again.

For us, this is more than a business. Having lived through breast cancer and hair loss ourselves, we know how overwhelming, emotional and isolating it can feel. Our mission is to provide women with choice, comfort and confidence at a time when so much feels out of their control.
